Get Involved

Here at Laguna Elementary we pride ourselves on having a great partnership with our community. It’s the dedication, positive spirit, and volunteering nature of our parents that make our campus and district so successful. There are a number of ways to get involved:

Volunteering at Our School

If you have a few hours on your hands during the week, we’d love to have your help in our school! Teachers are always excited about having parents in the classroom to help run programs or groups, or to help out with the many clerical tasks that take up so much time!

Helping in our front office or library is also a great way to stay involved and in touch with your child’s learning community. Please contact our office at (520) 696-8450 and let us know if you are interested in volunteering.

Parent Teacher Organization

Welcome to Laguna Elementary PTO! We are so excited about the great activities we have planned for this school year!

We are looking for parents to join us in helping make Laguna Elementary a fun and supportive place to learn. We know that in today’s world every family is so busy and many parents both work. No matter what time commitment you are able to make, we have a place for you and ways you can help out. Even a few hours a month can really make a difference in our school environment. It is also a great way to meet other Laguna Elementary parents and stay tuned-in to what is going on at the school.

We meet at 2:30 p.m. on the first Monday of every month in the library. If you are unable to make the meetings, but would still like to help and be involved, don’t hesitate to contact us by leaving a message with the school. We look forward to working with you on the PTO here at Laguna Elementary.

School Board Meetings

If you’d like to know what is happening in our district, you are always welcome to attend the School Board Meetings. We hold these meetings the second and fourth Tuesday of every month at 6 p.m. in the Board Room, located at 1556 W. Prince Road. School Board meetings are open to the public and are a great way for you to find out what is going on district wide.
