🚀 Camp Longhorn STEM: BLAST OFF! 🚀

Our Camp Longhorn students had a blast putting their creativity, engineering skills, and teamwork to work as they designed and built their very own stomp rockets! 🛠️🚀

With the help of our amazing STIX teacher, Ms. Molina, our Longhorns built, tested, made adjustments, and then watched their creations take flight! Talk about learning that really takes off! 🤩

We love seeing our students create, explore, problem-solve, and HAVE FUN at Camp Longhorn! 💙💛🐂🚀

Thank you to the Northwest Tucson Moose Lodge #2543 for donating 30 Thanksgiving dinners to our families. We are so fortunate and thankful to our community partners. So many people were touched by your generosity and kindness. Kari Hogan and her elves will always be a part of our Longhorn family. 💗

Today, the Laguna Elementary Longhorns came together for a heartfelt assembly to send off their principal, Major Alan Schmidt, as he prepares for a year of service with the U.S. Army. The entire Laguna community gathered to express gratitude and well-wishes, creating a memorable send-off. In Mr. Schmidt's absence, Mr. Luis Blanco will serve as interim principal, keeping the Laguna spirit strong. Every Friday, the Longhorns will wear red to "Remember Everyone Deployed" and keep Mr. Schmidt and all who serve close in their thoughts. Thank you, Major Schmidt, for your commitment to both our school and our country.
